1. Lawful purpose and humane treatment
No dog from Dramacide Kennels is bred, raised or sold for any illegal purpose. The buyer agrees that the dog will not be used for animal fighting, cruelty or any other unlawful activity. Both parties agree to comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws, including the Animal Welfare Act, as amended, and applicable regulations.
2. Deposit and puppy selection
A deposit reserves a puppy of the agreed sex only, subject to availability. It does not reserve a specific puppy or establish priority for choosing a puppy. Selection of an individual puppy is on a first-come, first-served basis among puppies available at the time of selection.
Deposit transfer and forfeiture: If Dramacide Kennels is unable to complete the agreed placement due to circumstances on the kennel's end, the buyer may apply the full deposit toward another available puppy or a future litter, with the replacement arrangement confirmed in writing. If the buyer cancels or fails to fulfill their obligations under this agreement, the deposit will be forfeited, to the extent permitted by applicable law. These terms do not limit any refund or other remedy required by law.
3. Veterinary examination and vaccinations
Before pickup or shipment, each puppy will be examined by a veterinarian and will receive age-appropriate vaccinations recommended by the veterinarian. Available examination and vaccination records will accompany the puppy. Any known health concerns will be disclosed before transfer. A veterinary examination describes the puppy's condition at that time and does not guarantee lifelong health.
4. Responsible ownership
The buyer agrees to provide a safe, healthy and loving home, appropriate food and shelter, ongoing veterinary care, exercise, socialization and humane handling. The buyer acknowledges that each dog has an individual temperament and requires responsible supervision and training.
5. Pickup and shipping
The buyer must print, complete and sign this agreement and provide the signed copy to Dramacide Kennels before any puppy is released for pickup or shipment. Both parties must agree on the transfer arrangements and any shipping costs in advance. Shipment will take place only when applicable age, health, documentation and carrier requirements are met.
6. Our purpose
Dramacide Kennels is a personal hobby rooted in our appreciation for dogs and their companionship. As veterans, caring for our dogs helps us manage stress and supports a comfortable, fulfilling daily life. This personal purpose does not limit either party's obligations under applicable law.
7. Acknowledgment and signatures
By signing, both parties acknowledge that they have read and understood this agreement, completed the applicable transaction details and agreed to the written terms. Any additional terms must be recorded below and accepted by both parties. This agreement does not waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
